How To Treat Acne Effectively?

By: Ryan Holmes

It is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting up to 50 million Americans yearly. At least 85 percent of people in the U.S. experience acne at least one time between the ages of 12 and 24 years.

Acne is a disorder of the skin caused by inflammation of the skin glands and hair follicles. Since it forms under the skin, washing away surface oils does not do much to prevent or cure it.

Acne usually causes a lot of emotional and physical discomfort for the person who suffers. Each of us has different options, using creams, gels, masks, exfoliants, and other homemade recipes in the hopes of ending acne. However, have you ever noticed that the products or methods were very effective for this person, but when you applied it, it was not effective that much. And as usual, we will feel more discouraged, or you think other people share not real stories.

Before entering the main section, we need to keep in mind that "acne treatments take time to be effective, whether the patient has medication or not. It may take up to 3 to 4 weeks, although sometimes it can last up to 3 months. During treatment, acne can become worse before it is cured, leading to discouraged and abandoned patients. Therefore, it is important to stick to treatment procedures even when there is no immediate improvement. "

Recently, there have been many types of cleansers or gel cleansers, ranging from $4 for 50ml from low cost brands to $30 - $100 from natural products or cosmetics. And there are a lot of products that promise to help you get rid of acne in a certain period of time. And you use, but it can't help in your case! Why?

With our experience in cosmetics, dermatology and nutrition, we would like to share you that:

  • Common cosmetic products on the market: There are certain ingredients that work specifically to prevent acne or acne but contain only enough quantities to claim information on the package, rather than to work on it. In addition, these products have many staples, losing the hydrolipid membrane to protect the skin, bacteria and waste will easily penetrate the skin and the pores.

  • Cosmetics, natural products, or biology: Claims of these products in the packaging are usually based on their research, however, it is primarily based on standard conditions, It is not based on living conditions.

  • Last but not least, in Nutri4Health opinion, it is not enough when you do use the right product, you have to use the products RIGHT.

So how to prevent acne effectively for each case as your case? Nutri4Health shares the experience below. It is divided into two main parts: the acne formation process, the mistakes in the prevention and treatment of acne.

Before learning how to prevent and treat acne RIGHT, you need to understand why you have acne first. It's a complex process that involves hormones, genes, bacteria, ultraviolet rays, food and lifestyle. Over time, acne will be formed, your pores will go through the accumulation of excess oil, dirt, and other debris.

1. Increase In Sebum Secretion

Acne is caused by a reaction of the sebaceous glands to the hormonal changes in the body. Acne is directly attributed to the rise of androgen hormone levels. The production of these hormones rise when a child begins puberty, and is the reason much acne is prevalent in adolescence. As androgen levels rise, the sebaceous glands sitting directly under the skin enlarge and increase the production levels of oil, also known as sebum. This oil helps skin to be safe and healthy. The lipid or lipid in Sebum is responsible for providing water to the skin and hair. This oil also helps regulate body temperature when we are in a hot or cold state. In warm weather conditions, the oil will help the skin surface enough moisture and balance body heat. When you are in a cold environment, the oil acts as a waterproof membrane that helps your skin resist the surrounding water like rain or water when you go swimming and bathing. Oil also prevents bacteria from entering the skin. Although oil is important for the health of the skin, if too much oil causes the pores blocked.

2. Pores Are Blocked

Following the process above, your hair follicles will be clogged, as the pores expand and are filled with excess oil, bacteria, scum, and dead skin cells.

3. The Penetration of Bacteria Into The Pores

When the pores are enlarged, it invites bacteria to enter the skin. The main cause behind the formation of acne is Propionibacterium acnes (or commonly known as P. Acnes). This bacterium is a type of bacterium that lives deeply in the pores and hair follicles. Some strains of this bacterium are responsible for protecting the skin from germs that can cause serious infections, but others can damage the cells under the skin, causing the bulge to swell. Nearly every one of us has several types of this bacterium in our skin. Although this is a non-contagious bacterium, it does not spread from person to person but there are some types that are more infectious than others.

P. Acnes grow best in the environment of lipids and hypo-oxygen. Blocked pores prevent oxygen from entering the follicle leading to better sebum development, which is beneficial to the growth of bacteria. When pores become clogged or filled with debris or oil, P. Acnes tends to go to the surface of the skin, and nutrients from the pores help the bacteria multiply faster. Each of us has specific P. acnes populations that cause acne and inflammation. If your skin contains more powerful P. Acnes, they can take advantage of the specific environment and have no immune system on your skin, and penetrate deeply into the skin causing inflammation.

Some people are more likely to be affected by P. Acnes than others because P. Acnes is caused by fat that is produced from sebum, which is more likely to attract bacteria. Increased sebum secretion during puberty or during periods of hormonal changes such as menstrual cycles or during pregnancy. Some medications can also increase sebum production, leading to the attraction of bacteria. Extra oil creates the ideal environment for P. acnes and helps it to grow rapidly in the follicle.Genetics is also one of the factors that make P.Ances affect our skin. Genes can affect the level of natural hormones and the immune system, factors that make the skin less resistant to acne bacteria. If your parents are close to having acne at your age, you are likely to be similarly affected.

4. Skin Becomes Inflammatory

As the oil and bacteria continue to increase, your body releases red blood cells and white blood cells to kill bacteria and prevent infection. This leads to inflammation and puffiness as you see in the course of acne. If the bacteria are not killed and continue to multiply in the hair follicles, acne will be formed.

Acne (pustule) occurs when these P. acnes bacteria are stronger than red blood cells and white blood cells. And the pus is the corpse of our red blood cells and white blood cells. In areas where the skin around the inflamed and reddened area, it causes pain and warmth when touched. These patches often appear on the sides of the skin that contain many sebaceous glands, such as the face, upper back, and chest.

However, it may still appear in other areas of the body.

Acne is not always caused by bacteria. Comedones like whitehead and blackhead are more likely to appear due to the excess oil than normal and dead skin cells that hide the pores without P.Ances bacteria. And this oil, when exposed to external factors, leads to oxidation, creating whitehead and blackhead.

5. Oxidation or oxidation of sebum

Finally, the process leading to the formation of acne is the process of horny or oxidation of sebum. As the pores enlarge and the oil proliferates, in addition to being strongly influenced by P. acnes as described above, our skin is also affected by oxygen and ultraviolet radiation, resulting in thickening up the sebum. At this time, horny keratoses can not escape from the pores.

1. Reduce the causes of hormonal changes:

Hormones play an important role in the body's major functions. Any disorder can affect your health, beauty and quality of life. To minimize the impact of social problems on your hormones, you should:

  • Moderate exercise, scientific work arrangements, and relaxation to reduce stress. Try deep breathing and do yoga every day.

  • Do not use smart devices before bedtime. Ensure dark space, quiet, cool room temperature to sleep better.

  • Eat enough food, enough substance, not completely abstain from fat. If you want to keep your waist, you can reduce the consumption of fat but increase the good fat from fish, nuts ... so as not to affect the production of estrogen of the body.

  • Buy vegetables, clean meat and should be processed at home instead of eating office box rice in the street. If possible, you should grow your own vegetables at home.

  • Do not add too much short chain carbohydrates (sugar and flour).

  • Do not use too much milk and dairy products (except cheese).

  • Do not smoke and drink much beer.

  • Do not eat too spicy foods.

Last by not least, the key is to get enough vitamins and minerals to balance and maintain the normal functions of our cells and organs. In order to have the effective result, you should know which types of minerals and vitamins to absorb. You can try our dietary supplement to treat the acne here, it is studied and examined with guarantee result.

2. Prevent pores from being clogged:

Normally, there are lots of people who simply wash their skin roughly with water, or use cheap, low-price facial cleansers containing some surfactants and foaming agents such as Laureth Sulfate, etc. We have a misconception that many bubbles will help to cleanse the skin more effectively. This perception has been injected in our mind from TV commercials from inexpensive popular brands, because these types of ingredients are cheap, and the floating outlines are easy to see and believe from the consumers' eyes.

But believe us, you need to immediately remove that kind of cheap cleansers from your list of skin care products daily. You can use our organic cleanser separately here or try the full set to get guarantee result.

For the best and most effective result, you should follow 3 steps of facial cleansing including:

Step 1: Use makeup remover. You should use makeup remover even when you didn't wear makeup. Current organic or organic products use Micelle technology or micelle solution, which uses a two-head, one hydrophilic, one lipidphilic (love oil). The hydrophilic attaches itself to the cotton pad, and the other end attracts excess oil from the pores and impurities.

Step 2: Wash your face with cleanser (without foaming agent) as described above.

Step 3: Rebalance your skin and make sure your skin is clean and clear again with toner.

In addition, the interval should be exfoliated once a week, to remove the dead skin on the surface to clog the pores.

3. Prevent bacteria and thickening of sebum:

You can use acne creams or serums with natural ingredients such as copper sulfate, zinc sulfate, aloe vera, tea tree oil, etc. These substances are natural substances that help kill bacteria and help to inhibit the thickening of sebum. You can try the our cream to treat acne effectively here.

In addition, you need to protect your skin from the harmful effects of UVA and UVB rays by using sunscreen. Because UV light activates the oxidation process, oil and sebum are thickened and horny.
